I am continually drawn to paint flowers, especially wild flowers. Many are so beautiful, that it’s hard to see why we call them weeds.

When I start to plan a painting, I often do some research. I'm always surprised by what turns up and it adds to my pleasure in painting.

The reaction I usually get is: "You mean you can't see images in your head? I thought everyone could do that!"
